Comprehensive Eye Exams
During a complete eye exam at our Optometrist office, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
Eyecare experts recommend you have a complete eye exam every one to three years, depending on your age, risk factors, and physical condition.

Eye Health Screening
Our practice includes a Medmont Visual Field Analyser. This test is undertaken in addition to a comprehensive Eye Examination to check for ‘blind spots’ caused by eye disease (i.e. glaucoma), brain damage (i.e. stroke) and in monitoring the extent and quality of your peripheral (side) vision.
Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most common eye diseases and a leading cause of blindness worldwide. A simple test can help detect problems early, even if you have no symptoms, and can save your sight. The screening takes less than one minute and is completely painless. Your pupils won’t even need to be dilated. The test can be performed during your regular yearly check up using an instrument called DRS.
